Community Bible Study

We invite you to be part of a course that offers caring, in-depth Bible study with the hope of transformed lives through the Word of God. We offer cores for women and men as well as an online core for women. We also have an excellent NextGen Ministry for infants through primary ages. Children receive biblical instruction through music, skits, play and crafts. In person and online classes meet weekly on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 - 11:30am. Each class participant receives a course book with commentary notes and home study questions for 5 weekly readings. Each week you will attend a short opening with worship, spend time discussing the week's lesson in your core group facilitated by a trained core leader, and end with worship and a teaching time by a trained teaching director. You will get to enjoy group fellowship with refreshments one time per month. Online courses are held through Community Bible Study on Zoom.

Currently Studying: Matthew

2024-2025 Class will be doing an in-depth study of the gospel of Matthew. Matthew wrote by the power of the Holy Spirit, primarily to his fellow Jews, proving through Scripture that Jesus’s life and ministry fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah. In studying this Gospel, you can clearly hear Matthew’s message: Jesus is indeed the long-awaited Jewish Messiah, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Immanuel, God with us!

MINISTRIES

Next Gen Ministry

Our NextGen Ministry includes classes for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and young elementary students. We strive to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music and games. Toddlers and preschool children will learn Bible stories from both the Old and New Testament. Elementary students will study the same book(s) of the Bible as the adults in an age-appropriate format. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS NextGen Ministry.
